ESPN Body Issue 2011

ESPN's attempt at keeping magazines relevant is back for a 3rd year!

I used to think Gretchen Bleiler was kinda hot...
and then I saw her weird, man-ish body on the cover of my magazine.

Here is a photo of olympic marathoner Ryan Hall presumably running away from the bullies who stole his clothes.

I am pretty sure I saw this exact girl roller skating through the Allentown Art Festival.

If anyone was wondering, Blake Griffin will be just fine during the NBA lockout.

WNBA star Sylvia Fowles stole my morning workout routine.

This is just a really good photo of St. Louis Rams rb Steven Jackson.

Congratulations, your mom made it into this year's issue!

Had I known naked horse dancing was a real thing before this, my life would be totally different right now. (Why did my lawyer not bring this up at my trial?)

They took roughly 500 photos boxer Sergio Martinez and this was the least awkward pose.

U.S. soccer star Hope Solo had no idea ESPN was coming by to take her photo. She was just outside doing her routine yard work. (I'm not sure why they didn't use the photo of her weedwacking.)

Nobody asked Helio Castroneves to do this. He sent this photo in on his own.

This year's issue was a bit of a disappointment. They need to use less good looking people and more mutants. Like I said last year, we need to see naked NFL coaches and maybe a little Chris Kaman action. Oh yeah, and Shaq. Loads and loads of naked Shaq.

I don't get it... a professional roller-skater made it into the magazine? People still roller skate?
